The Vacancy is an American rock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Vacancy were signed to A-F Records, an independent record label owned by the members of Pittsburgh punk rock band, Anti-Flag, in 2003 before they had even played a single show. The band has thus far released one EP, Self-Titled, in 2003 and one LP, Heart Attack in 2005. In their brief history, they have gone through numerous member changes and stylistic changes. They have toured numerous times with their bosses as well as punk veterans Against Me! and underground metal icons, Darkest Hour. Their current members include Ben Dietels on vocals and guitar, Adam Sacco on bass, and Mike Calhoun on drums. Their current sound has earned them comparisons to such artists as Foo Fighters and Lifetime.
