Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace National Historic Site is a unit of the National Park Service at 28 E. 20th Street in New York, New York.
Theodore Roosevelt was born in a brownstone house here on October 27, 1858. He lived in the house until he was 14 years old. Demolished in 1916, it was reconstructed and rededicated in 1923 and furnished by the President's widow, Edith, and sisters.
