Thicker Than Water was the last short to star Laurel and Hardy. Directed by James W.Horne, produced by Hal Roach, and released in 1935 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the short also features James Finlayson, Daphne Pollard in supporting roles.
The film's main gags are its scene transitions, achieved by having either Laurel or Hardy literally drag the next scene into the frame from off-camera.
