Thomas McKean Thompson McKennan (March 31 or December 31, 1794–July 9, 1852) was a U.S. politician.
McKennan was born 1794 in New Castle, Delaware. He served as a Congressman from the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
McKennan served 11 days as U.S. Secretary of the Interior under Millard Fillmore in 1850. He resigned after discovered he had a "peculiar nervous temperament" that did not fit him for the pressures as Interior Secretary.
