The river Ticino (German: ; Latin: Ticinus) is a tributary of the Po. It rises in the St. Gotthard massif in Switzerland and flows through Lake Maggiore. The Ticino joins the Po a few kilometres downstream of Pavia. It is about 280 kilometres (173 miles) long.
