Tim Ferguson

Tim Ferguson (born Timothy Dorcen Langbene Ferguson on 6 November 1963 in Canberra, ACT) is an Australian comedian and television presenter. His first major appearance was as the "handsome" member of the Doug Anthony All Stars, along with Paul McDermott and Richard Fidler, on the ABC shows The Big Gig, where they quickly gained a following, and their own show DAAS Kapital.

In 1995 he appeared in Funky Squad, He appeared in the TV1 comedy series Shock Jock and hosted the very short-lived Don't Forget Your Toothbrush on the Nine Network. Before and during March 1997 Ferguson was featured in the launch advertising campaign for the Nintendo 64 video game console in Australia, in which he would try to recreate scenes from some of the launch games in real life situations to show the realism at the time the console could create. For instance one advert for had ferguson try to trip a Steam shovel in a quarry using a dirt bike and rope in a similiar fashion to the events in that had an AT-AT tripped by the tow cables of a Snowspeeder. Another game in the advertisement series was Wave Race 64. He also hosted a radio show in 2003 on 3AK.

Since then he has gone on to do stand up comedy and other television commentary and hosting including the frequent Television's Greatest Commercials, and Network Ten's Unreal TV. In November 2005 Ferguson was involved in hosting the Sky Channel National Day of Protest against the Howard Government's industrial relations changes.
