Timimoun is a town and an oasis at the same time, located in Gourara region in Algeria.

The town of Timimoun, founded above the same name oasis, is known for the red ochre color of its buildings.

Timimoun, is located at the edge of the plate of Tadmaït, above the Sebkhra.
