To Hell and Back is a war film released in 1955. It was directed by Jesse Hibbs and starred Audie Murphy. It is based on the 1949 autobiography book of the same name.

The film is an autobiographical account of Murphy's World War II experience. He was the most decorated soldier in U.S. history. The film is unique in that Murphy plays himself.
