Toledo Sports Arena

The Toledo Sports Arena is a 5,230-seat multi-purpose arena in Toledo, Ohio. It was built in 1949. It is home to the Toledo Storm Ice hockey team, and in 2007 will be home to the Toledo Rumble indoor football team.
As a concert venue, the Sports Arena can seat 6,500, and for theater concerts and stage shows, 4,400. The arena seats up to 8,250 for boxing and wrestling, and the arena is only 33-2/3 feet tall. In the past, the Sports Arena has been home to the following ice hockey teams:
- Toledo Buckeyes (1949-1950)
- Toledo Mercurys (1950-1962)
- Toledo Blades (1963-1970)
- Toledo Hornets (1970-1974)
- Toledo Goaldiggers (1974-1986)
- Toledo Storm (1991-present)
