Toll Shipping is a division of Toll Holdings. It operates various large vessels in both New Zealand and Australia.

Interislander

The New Zealand division of the firm is branded as The Interislander, and operates a fleet of four vessels between Picton and Wellington across Cook Strait, connecting with Toll Rail services:

MV Arahura
MV Aratere
MV Challenger, marketed as Kaitaki (formerly Isle of Innisfree, Pride of Cherbourg, Stena Challenger)
MV Purbeck (not in use)

The service carries about one million passengers and 230,000 vehicles per year on 5,700 sailings.
