Tom's Restaurant is a diner-style restaurant at 782 Washington Ave at the corner of Sterling Place in Brooklyn. The diner is a few blocks downhill from the Eastern Parkway/Brooklyn Museum stop on the 2,3,4 red line trains. The long-time proprietor is Gus Vlahadhas; it was his father Tom who opened the restaurant in 1936. The restaurant's popularity is attested by numerous favorable on-line reviews and its frequent appearance in listings of things to do in New York City.
