Tom M. Apostol

Tom Apostol is an analytical number theorist who teaches at California Institute of Technology. He received his PhD in mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley; after which, he taught there and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Apostol received his Bachelor of Science and Master's degree in mathematics from the University of Washington. He is the author of several influential graduate and undergraduate-level textbooks, including:
