Tomakomai (苫小牧市; -shi) is a city and port located in Iburi, Hokkaido, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 171,749 and the density of 306.09 persons per km². The total area is 561.10 km².
The city was founded on April 1, 1948.
