Anthony Joseph Lloyd (born 25 February 1950, Manchester) is a British politician. Previously the member of Parliament for Stretford, he is now member of Parliament for Manchester Central, and is a member of the Labour Party. He was first elected in 1983. In 1997, he became a junior minister in the Foreign Office, but left the Government in the reshuffle in 1999. He remains a backbencher.
Since leaving the Government, his voting record shows a strong left-wing inclination, with him appearing as a rebel teller on several notable occasions. He is also a Vice-President of the Western European Union.
