The Tosan is a light tank first reported in December 1997 by Iran which intended to mass produce it in the future. The Tosan is reported to be equipped with a 90mm gun and modern firing and targeting systems. It is intended to be used in unconventional warfare and rapid response for strategic missions. It is unknown whether or not the tank has entered serial production or if it will at all.
