Toyooka (豊岡市; -shi) is a city located in the northern part of Hyogo, Japan.
As of 2005, the city has an estimated population of 93,182 and a density of 133.56 persons per km². The total area is 697.66 km².
The city was founded on April 1, 1950. As of April 1, 2005 it has merged with 5 neighbouring towns, including Takeno, Tanto, Kinosaki, Hidaka, and Izushi.
The San'in Main Line provides a rail connection to Kyoto, and direct trains to Osaka are available via Fukuchiyama.
