Toyota (豊田郡; -gun) is a district located in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.

As of 2003 (before the mergers), the district had an estimated population of 69,210 and a density of 210.12 persons per km². The total area was 329.38 km².

Mergers

On April 1, 2004, the town of Kawajiri merged into the city of Kure.

On February 7, 2005, the town of Akitsu merged into the city of Higashihiroshima.

On March 20, 2005, the towns of Yasuura, Toyohama and Yutaka merged into the city of Kure.

On March 22, 2005, the town of Hongo merged into the city of Mihara.

On January 10, 2006, the town of Setoda merged into the expanded city of Onomichi.
