Transmitter Caltanissetta

The transmitter Caltanissetta is a transmission facility of RAI near Caltanissetta. It has aerials for shortwave and longwave broadcasting. The longwave transmitter, which was one of the weakest used for broadcasting, was shut down in August 2002. It used as aerial a 282 metre high guyed steel framework mast.
