There are no railways in San Marino, but there is a 1.5 km cable railway connecting the city of San Marino to Borgo Maggiore. There are 220 km of highways in the country, and no major ports, harbours or airports. However, the Adriatic seashore and an airport can easily be accessed by road, via a short drive into Rimini, Italy where there is also a train station.
