Encyclopedia : T : TR : TRI : Triple Concerto (Beethoven)
Ludwig van Beethoven's Concerto for Violin, Cello, Piano, & Orchestra in C Major, more commonly known as the "Triple Concerto," was his 56th opus. The choice of the three solo instruments effectively makes this a concerto for piano trio. A typical performance takes approximately 37 minutes.
In the standard classical concerto style, it is in three movements:
- Allegro
- Largo
- Rondo alla Polacca
