Tripletails are perciform fishes in the family Lobotidae.
Species
There are two species in the single genus Lobotes.
- Pacific tripletail, Lobotes pacificus Gilbert, 1898.
- Atlantic tripletail, Lobotes surinamensis (Bloch, 1790).
