Twin city

The term twin city or twin town may be applied to one of the following notions:

Twin cities: two towns or cities that are geographically close to each other, and often referred to collectively, such as Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.
Town twinning or sister cities: two distant cities agree to partner each other, for various reasons.

It can also refer to Twin City, Georgia.
