Twinjet

A twinjet is an aircraft powered by two jet engines. Twinjets tend to be quieter and more efficient than aircraft with more engines. Many airlines use twinjets exclusively (for example US Airways, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines in USA) .
Some twinjets include:
- Airliners: McDonnell Douglas DC-9, Boeing 717, 737, 757, 767, 777 & 787, Airbus A300, A310, A320, A330 & A350
- Fighter planes: Tupolev Tu-124, McDonnell F2H Banshee
