The word Twist has the following meanings:
- To turn in a way, or to bend, so that the bottom of one end of something is turned to be the top, and the other end remains the bottom.
- To steal something, e.g. "Twist it off its frame"
- Wing twist, change of the cross-section shape of a wing along the span.
- TWIST, the Transaction Workflow Innovation Standards Team who provide financial protocol standards.
- Twist ending, when a narrative takes a shocking turn in the final act.
- Twist, Germany, a municipality in Lower Saxony.
- The oldest form of chewing tobacco.
