U.S.S. Constellation

The U.S.S. Constellation was a Class One U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier built in the Brooklyn Naval Shipyard and christened October 8, 1960. The Constellation's main service of operation was in the Western Pacific and Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. The U.S.S. Constellation was the famed carrier involved in the Golf of Tonkin Incident. The ship was retired to Bremerton, Washington in September 2003.
