U.S. Route 9W

U.S. Route 9W is a U.S. Highway that provides a western loop of U.S. Highway 9. It begins at US 9 in Fort Lee, New Jersey, where it is concurrent with US 1, US 46 and I-95 on the George Washington Bridge approach, and runs north along the west side of the Hudson River to rejoin US 9 in Albany, New York where it terminates. Between the George Washington Bridge and the Dunn Memorial Bridge in Albany, US 9 runs along the east side of the river, in order to serve New York City.
