Unión Deportiva Las Palmas is a football team based in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria in the Spanish autonomous community of Canary Islands. Founded in 1949, it plays in Segunda División. Its stadium is Estadio de Gran Canaria with a capacity of 30,000. UD Las Palmas is again ready to play in Segunda División after they won the play off final against CD Linares. The next season (2006/2007) they will compete to qualify for La Liga.
