The UNH Pep Band is the official pep band of the University of New Hampshire. The band plays at all home men's and women's hockey games in the spring semester, as well as several men's and women's basketball games. The band travels to most of the hockey teams' Hockey East and NCAA tournament games, including Frozen Four trips to Anaheim, CA, Minneapolis, MN, and Buffalo, NY. The band has traditionally had an equal mix of music and non-music majors. As such, membership is open to all students, including graduate students, students at UNH Manchester, and is occasionally joined in the stands by alumni. The UNH Pep Band is directed by Casey Goodwin, Director of Athletic Bands, and is often assisted by graduate students from the Department of Music.
