Uddhav Thackeray

Uddhav Thackeray (25th July 1956- ) is the working president of the Shiv Sena, a regional party based in the Indian state of Maharashtra. He was given this role in 2004, taking over the mantle from his father and founder Bal Thackeray.

However differences between he and other members of the party have cropped up leading to a revolt between him and Narayan Rane who accuses him of selling posts and sidelining him. He is also accused of shunning his cousin Raj Thackeray.He is considered to be a good administrator by many within the party,but lacking his father's charisma.
