Uesugi Akisada

(1454-1510) was the son of Uesugi Fusasada. Akisada continuously fought against a different branch of Uesugi. Akisada fought against the Uesugi with Ashikaga Shigeuji and conducted battles at Sanemakihara, Nanasawa, and Sugaya. Akisada became very distracted by the independent way of Nagao Tamekage of the Echigo Province. During Akisada's efforts to put Tamekage in line, he ended up getting killed.
