Ukita

The Ukita clan of the Bizen Province were descendants of that of Kojima Takanori (in which who was from the Miyake family of Bizen Province). During the 16th century the Ukita clan was then led by Ukita Yoshiie, and many vassals of the Urakami family. The grandson of Yoshiie, Naoie would come to usurp the Urakami and rule all of Bizen. The Ukita soon became very powerful at western Honshu due to being an ally of the famed Toyotomi Hideyoshi at the time. Following the Battle of Sekigahara that took place during the year of 1600, The Ukita ended up loseing it's land.
