Ullevål stadion is a station served both by Sognsvannsbanen and T-baneringen, which leaves Sognvannsbanen after this station. In the inbound direction (toward the city centre) the next station is Forskningsparken. In the other direction the next station on Sognsvannsbanen is Berg while the next station on T-baneringen is Nydalen.

As the name suggests, the most significant feature near the station is Ullevål Stadium, the largest football arena in Norway.
