Umnak

Umnak is one of the Fox Islands of the Aleutian Islands. It is the third largest island in the Aleutians and is separated from Unalaska Island by Umnak Pass. Nikolski is the only remaining community (population 85, 2005) on the island. Fort Glenn, a former major military facility on the Northwest shore of the island, played an instrumental role in the North Pacific Theater in World War Two. The island is home to the world's second-largest volcanic caldera on Mt. Okmok.
