União Agrícola Barbarense Futebol Clube, or União Barbarense as they are usually called, is a Brazilian football team from Santa Bárbara d' Oeste in São Paulo, founded on November 14, 1914.

Home stadium is the Antônio R. Guimarães stadium, capacity 15,000. They play in white shirts, shorts and socks.

History

1914 - The club is founded.

1921 - On May 22, Barbarense's stadium is inaugurated.

1921 - The team affiliates to APEA (Associação Paulista de Esportes Atléticos, "Paulista Association of Athletic Sports") and plays their first match in São Paulo State's Campeonato Oficial de Futebol Amador (Amateur Football Official Championship").

1948 - Amateur FPF (Federação Paulista de Futebol) champion of its Region.

1956 - Take a leave of FPF's Championship.

1957 - Amateur champion of Barbarense Championship of Liga Barbarense de Futebol ("Barbarense Football League").

1961 - Amateur champion of Taça Cidade, of Liga Barbarense de Futebol.

1963 - Amateur champion of the last edition of Taça Cidade, of Liga Barbarense de Futebol.

1964 - The club affiliates to FPF, and becomes a professional club. Plays in Campeonato Paulista.

1966 - Promoted to Campeonato Paulista Second Division.

1967 - Promoted to Campeonato Paulista First Division, just one division below the Special Division.

1968 - Plays in Campeonato Paulista First Division.

1972 - Take a leave of FPF's Championsip, returning in the following year.

1974 - 4th place in Campeonato Paulista First Division. (there is no promotion to the Special Division this year).

1975 - 3rd place in Campeonato Paulista First Division. (there is no promotion to the Special Division this year).

1977/1978 - The club in not included in the Intermediate Division, created in 1977, União Barbarense did not play in any FPF competition.

1979 - União Barbarense returns to play in FPF competitions. The team plays in Campeonato Paulista Third Division. The Third Division is actually the fifth level of Campeonato Paulista.

1980 - FPF creates a Second Division and promotes Barbarense to this division. 

1990 - Runner-up of Campeonato Paulista Second Division, returning to the Intermediate Division.

1991 - Plays in Campeonato Paulista Intermediate Division.

1994 - FPF restructures the Paulista competitions in A-1 (first level), A-2 (second level) and A-3 (third level). Barbarense is placed in A-3 and ends in 10th place.

1995 - Barbarense takes a leave of Campeonato Paulista A-3. Antônio Guimarães Stadium is expanded and modernized.

1996 - União Barbarense returns to play in Campeonato Paulista A-3.

1997 - The club is runner-up of Campeonato Paulista A-3, and is promoted to A-2.

1998 - Champion of A-2, and promoted to Campeonato Paulista First Division.

1999 - First time of the club in Campeonato Paulista First Division.

2004 - Champion of Campeonato Brasileiro Third Division. Promoted to Campeonato Brasileiro Second Division.

2005 - Relegated to Campeonato Paulista Second Division (A-2).

2005 - Relegated to Campeonato Brasileiro Third Division, after ending the league in 20th.
