Unitarian Universalist Service Committee

The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee is a non-profit international service organization that was started in May 1940 (as Unitarian Service Committee) out of an effort to smuggle Jews and other targeted groups out of Nazi Germany. Today it is a nonsectarian Associate Member organization of the Unitarian Universalist Association, and works to promote social justice and human rights around the world. It also is very active in disaster relief.
