United States Department of Justice Criminal Division

The U.S. Department of Justice Criminal Division develops, enforces, and supervises the application of all federal criminal laws in the United States, except those specifically assigned to other divisions. Criminal Division attorneys prosecute many nationally significant cases and formulate and implement criminal enforcement policy. Division attorneys also provide adivce and guidance to the Attorney General, Congress, and the White House on matters of criminal law. The Criminal Division is currently overseen by Assistant Attorney General Alice S. Fisher.
Organization
The Criminal Division consists of the following sections, offices and units:

- Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section
- Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section
- Counterespionage Section (Scheduled to be transferred to the new National Security Division)
- Counterterrorism Section (Scheduled to be transferred to the new National Security Division)

- Executive Office for Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force
- Fraud Section
- International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP)
- Narcotic and Dangerous Drug Section
- Office of Enforcement Operations
- Office of International Affairs
- Office of Justice for Victims of Overseas Terrorism
- Office of Policy and Legislation
- Office of Special Investigations
- Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance, and Training (OPDAT)
