United States Secretary of Transportation

The United States Secretary of Transportation is the head of the United States Department of Transportation. The Secretary is a member of the President's Cabinet. The current Acting Secretary is Maria Cino who assumed the position on July 8, 2006, following the retirement of former Secretary Norman Mineta.
