University of Bordeaux

The University of Bordeaux is an organisation consisting of four autonomous universities:
- Université Bordeaux 1 [link] - natural science
- Université Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2 [link] - medicine and life sciences
- Université Michel de Montaigne Bordeaux 3 [link] - the liberal arts
- Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV [link] - political science and law
- Institut d'études politiques de Bordeaux [link] (Political Studies Institute, commonly known as "Sciences Po"), an elite school for future policy-makers,
- Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature (National School of Magistrature) [link],
- Law School of the University Bordeaux IV [link], often described as the best of the country, and certainly one of the best,
- Bordeaux Ecole de Management (Bordeaux Business School) [link], one of the best of its kind
- École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers
- Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI) [link], a computer science research center
