The University of Maribor (Slovenian Univerza v Mariboru) is the second university in Slovenia, established in 1961. Nowadays it has 12 faculties.
Organization
These are the 14+1 faculties in which the university is divided into:
- Faculty of Agriculture
- Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
- Faculty of Civil Engineering
- Faculty of Criminal Justice (in City of Ljubljana)
- Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
- Faculty of Economics and Business
- Faculty of Education
- Faculty of Law
- Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
- Faculty of Medicine
- Faculty of Nursing Studies
- Faculty of Organizational Studies
- Faculty of Social Sciences (opens 2007)
- Theological Faculty (separated from University of Maribor)
- Faculty of Logistics (in City of Krško and Celje )
