The University of Minnesota Medical Center is the main university hospital for the University of Minnesota Medical School. There are two hospitals one located on the East Bank of the campus known as the University Campus, the other is on the West Bank of the campus known as the Riverside Campus. It is owned and operated by the Fairview Health System, and is staffed by physician's of the University of Minnesota Physician's Group. It was previously known as Fairview University Medical Center.
