Upper class district is a term referring to a neighborhood with expensive real estate. The upper class districts are often in the central part of the city, near downtown. Nowadays it's also pretty usual to live in wealthy suburbs, espacially gated communities, for example Bel Air, California.
List of typical upper class distirct characteristics
An upper class district is likely to have many of the following characteristics:- The apartments are very big.
- The apartment-buildings are built a century or more ago.
- The wealthy suburbans are filled with big mansions.
- It has a cityview, oceanview or a parkview.
- It is also home to the major luxury hotels.
- The elite and the noble people built there mansions in the area years ago.
- The expensive shops are in the area or close.
- It's a very long queue for an apartment/house.
- The real estate is the most expensive in the city.
