Uprising is a 2001 war/drama television movie about the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The film was directed by Jon Avnet and written by Jon Avnet and Paul Brickman. It was filmed in multiple locations, including Bratislava, Slovakia and Innsbruck, Tirol, Austria.
Plot summary
Polish Jews rise up against the Nazi invaders, in 1943.Tagline: They did the one thing the Nazis never expected. They fought back.
It shows the leadership of the Ghetto Uprising, the adversity they faced and how they held off the Nazis for a long time.
