Ursa (comics)

Ursa is a supervillain that appeared as an enemy of Superman in various comic book series and in other media adaptations. She was a co-conspirator and accomplice of General Zod in attempting to overthrow the government of Krypton.
One of the most notable features about her is her hatred for anything male, to which in the movie Jor-El described it as so great that it had even threatened the male children of the planet Krypton. However, it is speculated that Zod is the only male she admires, and they are lovers.
In and Superman II (1980), she was portrayed by Sarah Douglas.
