History
VX began in 1997 as an industrial/EBM project, but early into the recording sessions of what would become their first album "Incantation", the direction began to shift into something completely different. The album was finished in 2001, and the band did several shows (including cyber wars with forced, andraculoid, and deathline international) and remixes for bands such as deathboy, wumpscut, slick idiot, forced and others before returning to the studio to record the follow up album "The Metamorphosis".The Metamorphosis (released in 2003) fused many styles together, from industrial and IDM to trance and rock- it was an album that defied stylistic categorization and boundaries. It was nominated for two awards (best electronica album and best industrial song for Fragment) by Just Plain Folks, an independent music awards group. During this time VX remixed songs for Curve and Collide, as well as contributing guitar and programming to the Deathboy song "We Will Destroy" off the album Music To Crash Cars To.
VX just recently finished their third commercial release entitled Sleep which continues to defy both expectations and classification and yet further solidifies the bands sound. Sleep features drums by Martin Atkins of Pigface, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, etc. and guitars by longtime live guitarist seanZ.
