VX (software company)

The company was founded in 1985 and located Palm Beach Florida, USA under the name Control Automation Inc. It entered into various partnerships with manufacturers in the Far East, and released its first CAD/CAM system in 1991. In 1994 the company changed its name Varimetrix, and then to VX in 2001. The company remains privately held.[link]
