Vaijapur

Vaijapur is a city and a municipal council in Aurangabad district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Geography

Vaijapur is located at [19.92° N 74.73° E][Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Vaijapur]. It has an average elevation of 514 metres (1686 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Vaijapur had a population of 37,002. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Vaijapur has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 62%. In Vaijapur, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
