Valdo Cândido de Oliveira Filho better known simply as Valdo, was a Brazilian footballer born in 12 January 1964 on Siderópolis, Brazil. He played as an offensive midfielder for such clubs as SL Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain, and the Brazil national football team.

He ended his playing career at the age of forty, after having helped Botafogo achieve its return to the Brasileirão Série A top division.

He had sixty five caps for the Brazil national football team, in 1993 for the last time, and scored an overall of eleven goals.

Valdo was present at the 1990 FIFA World Cup.
