Vampire in Brooklyn is an American horror/ comedy starring Eddie Murphy and Angela Bassett. Released in 1995, the film was directed by horror legend Wes Craven and written by Murphy, along with Vernon Lynch and Charlie Murphy. The plot concerns a vampire (Murphy) from a Caribbean island going to Brooklyn to find a half-vampire woman (Basset) to spend eternity with him.
