Veda Kaplinsky is the Chairman of the Piano Faculty at the Juilliard School in New York City. Her well-known piano students have included The 5 Browns, Helen Huang, Terrence Wilson, Rui Shi, Ronen Segev, Joyce Yang, and Alejandro Vela. According to the Juilliard School website, her teaching method, which stems from Dorothy Taubman, focuses on healthy use of the arms and hands.
