Vicarabad

Vicarabad is a town and a nagar panchayat in Rangareddi district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Vicarabad had a population of 42,258. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Vicarabad has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 57%. In Vicarabad, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
